It is a programme of cooperation and mobility which aims to reinforce the quality of European education and to promote the European Union as a worldwide class centre of excellence, on the field of education and training. This programme has actions:

• Action 1 – Joint Masters and PhD Programmes organized by a consortium of European Universities.
• Action 2 – Erasmus Mundus partnerships – Research projects seeking exchange and mobility between European Higher Education institutions and third countries.
• Action 3 – Projects for the promotion of European education.
