Leonardo da Vinci is a sub programme of the European Union Lifelong Learning Programme that helps European citizens to acquire new skills, knowledge and qualifications, and have them recognised across borders in order to improve their employability on changing labour markets.

Aims

  • Atender às necessidades de ensino e aprendizagem de todos os intervenientes no ensino e formação profissionais (excluindo o ensino e formação profissional avançados de nível superior), apoiando também os estabelecimentos e organizações que fornecem ou promovem esse ensino e formação.
  • Apoiar inovações e melhoramentos nos sistemas e práticas de ensino e formação profissionais.
    Apoiar os participantes em acções de formação e/ou aperfeiçoamento na aquisição e utilização de conhecimentos, competências e qualificações.
  • Facilitar a empregabilidade e a participação no mercado de trabalho europeu.
  • Contribuir para a melhoria da qualidade e da inovação dos sistemas, instituições e práticas de educação e formação profissional.
  • Aumentar a mobilidade dos participantes do programa.

Who can take part

  • Apprentices and people in secondary school-based learning;
  • People in the labour market (with a vocational or higher education background);
  • Teachers, trainers and other staff responsible for vocational training;
  • Institutions and bodies such as associations and representatives of those involved in vocational education and training, including associations of trainees, parents and teachers’ associations;
  • Enterprises, social partners and other representatives of working life, including chambers of commerce and other trade organisations;
  • Research centres and bodies concerned with lifelong learning issues and any aspect of vocational education and training at local, regional and national levels.
  • Non-profit organisations, voluntary bodies and non-governmental organisations.
