The UNICA is a university network of the capital cities of Europe. One of its main objectives is to promote academic excellence, integration and cooperation between member universities.

The mission of this network is to support the development of the Bologna Agreement and the integration of universities from Central and Eastern Europe in the European Higher Education Area.

The UNICA member universities, receive information about European programmes and initiatives, support in cooperation projects and are invited to consider about the demands of strategic changes in academic research, education and administration.
